Every milestone, in your child’s life, is an incredibly special one and you want to be sure to capture the memory. Whether it be that first birthday, Christmas or christening, it shouldn’t pass without capturing a beautiful portrait of the moment.

My photography style is very simple, timeless and natural. I don’t use distracting props or heavy colours, which will distract from the subject. I aim to create beautiful portraits which you will love today and always.

About the Photo Shoot
An experience to remember!
Just like a Newborn session, my Celebration sessions are all led by your child. This ensures that they are happy and content throughout and we get the best photographs possible. It is best to work around their nap and feed times to ensure they are on top form. I will work with you to agree the best times for your shoot.
Prior to your session we will finalise the styling for your shoot. We will discuss colours, props, clothing and accessories and this will all be governed by your own tastes.
Besides capturing beautiful portraits, one of my main priorities during your session is to ensure you relax and enjoy your experience. My studio is a warm, welcoming and cosy environment. I have a comfortable seating area, where you can sit back and enjoy drinks whilst watching your child have their photograph taken.
I only ever book one client per day to ensure that no shoot is ever rushed. I want you to enjoy your experience, from start to finish and have happy memories of the day you captured a special milestone in your child’s life.
Some Frequently Asked Questions
I have answered some of the most frequently asked questions below my celebration sessions. However if you need to know something that I have not covered please do not hesitate to contact me.
I advise my clients to book their shoot at least several weeks in advance to ensure that I have the date available.
On average a celebration session takes about 2 hours, but each session is completely child led so it will all depend on your little one.
Children are always most happy when they have a full belly, so its advisable to feed your baby just before your session. If this is not practical, then you are welcome to feed your baby when you get to the studio.
This is entirely up to you. I have clothing that your child can wear during the shoot. I will discuss this with your prior to your shoot. You may have your own clothing that you would prefer your child to wear and the shoot can be styled around this.
When you book your session, I will chat to you on the phone about styling options. We can discuss colour schemes and clothing and prop options, to ensure the shoot is designed around your taste.
The only thing you need to bring with you are things to keep your child happy. This could be food, drinks or favourite toys and pacifiers.
Yes, of course! After all you are a family and are part of the memory.
