Family is to be treasured and there is no better way to celebrate the importance than with beautiful portraits. No family home is complete without a stunning family portrait hung on the wall.
When you ask people what they would rescue from their burning house, the most common answer is “family photographs”. When people panic, they would rather grab photos than valuable jewellery or technology.
With technology today, it is very easy to take lovely family photographs with the cameras on many of our phones. Yes, these are usually great photographs but are they beautiful portraits? No!
A truly beautiful portrait takes skill to set up and appropriate equipment to capture. This is why studio photography is necessary.

About the Photo Shoot
An experience to remember!
Besides capturing beautiful portraits, one of my main priorities during your session is to ensure you relax and enjoy your experience.
My studio is a warm, welcoming and cosy environment. I have a comfortable seating area, where you can sit back and take a break in between taking your photographs. I have a private changing area which will be made exclusive to you during your shoot. This allows you to make changes to your outfits in a comfortable environment.
At the start of your session we will finalise the styling for your shoot. We will discuss colours, clothing and accessories and this will all be governed by your own tastes.
I only ever book one client per day to ensure that no shoot is ever rushed. I will spend time ensuring you feel comfortable and are enjoying your session.

Some Frequently Asked Questions
I have answered some of the most frequently asked questions below about my family sessions. However if you need to know something that I have not covered please do not hesitate to contact me.
On average a family session takes around 2 hours, but each session is different and will depend upon how many different coloured backgrounds and outfit changes you may like to use.
When you book your session, I will send you a ‘Session Planner’. This gives you styling choices and ideas for your shoot. At the start of your shoot we will discuss your choices and I will show you different props, clothing and accessories you can choose from.
You don’t need to be a supermodel to capture beautiful portraits with me. I will guide you through all of the poses needed to create stunning photographs and you will feel completely at ease throughout, with very natural positions.
Prior to you session, I will send you a detailed guide on how to prepare for your session. I will advise you about any clothing you will need to bring, together with styling ideas. I also have a wardrobe of clothing, which can be made available to you throughout your shoot.
I have a private changing area, which will be made exclusive to you for use throughout your shoot.
