Frequently Asked Questions

I have answered some of the most frequently asked questions below. However if you need to know something that I have not covered please do not hesitate to contact me.

SESSION INFORMATION

How far in advance do I need to book?

My sessions get booked up quickly and I therefore advise people to book sooner rather than later. If possible, look to book your shoot at least a month in advance of the session date. This will help to ensure you have a choice of available dates.

How long does a session last?

My sessions last anything between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the type of shoot

Do I need to bring anything with me?

There is very little you will need to bring to any shoot. I provide most things needed. When you book a session with me I will send you a Booking Confirmation with full details of how to prepare for your shoot and what you need to bring with you, if anything.
If you are attending a newborn shoot, you will need to bring things like; nappies and milk to keep your baby happy during the shoot. If we are taking family photographs, you will need to bring items of black clothing to wear.

Are the images edited?

All of my images are edited. This is what brings the portraits to life and sets them apart from everyday snapshots. After your photography session I will take time to edit your portraits and invite you back, for a private Reveal Session, where you can view your finished images.

How will my final images be supplied?

I have a wide range of packages and products available. My initial packages contain digitals and prints. I then have a wide selection of beautiful presentation products, such as frames and albums, which can be tailor made to suit your tastes. You can download a copy of my price list from my website.

STUDIO INFORMATION

Is it easy to get to your studio?

If traveling by train, the nearest train station (Dinting) is just a short 10 minute walk away. There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk, located on High Street East, Glossop.

Can I park easily?

You don’t have to worry about where to park. My studio has a private car park situated right outside. You can arrive for your shoot and not have the worry of needing to find a parking space or having far to walk.

What facilities do you have at the studio?

My studio has a large sofa which you can sit back and relax on, with other family members, whilst watching me take photographs.

I have a private bathroom and changing area, which is made exclusive to you for use during your session.

I have a private kitchen with all facilities, which can be used to help you store or prepare bottles should you need to.
