My sessions get booked up months in advance and I therefore advise people to book sooner rather than later. If possible, look to book your shoot around the date of your first trimester scan.

The best time to do your maternity shoot is towards the end of your pregnancy, when your bump will be a lovely round shape. Of course, pregnancies are all different and one lady’s bump can develop faster than another. For the best result I advise doing the shoot between 28 and 34 weeks.

I carry out very subtle editing on all of my portraits. If you have any marks on your body, which you are not happy with, these can be hidden during my editing process. I will discuss this with you at the start of your session.

I have an extensive wardrobe of clothing and accessories, which you will be able to use during the shoot. At the start of the session we will sit and discuss styling and you can choose which outfits you would like to wear. The only thing you need to bring with you is a selection of underwear.

When you confirm your session with me I will send out a booking confirmation that gives full guidance on what to do to prepare for your shoot and what to bring with you. I advise that you ensure hair, nails and makeup are all presentable for your shoot. This is down to your own preference but I advise that nails are made neat, hair is freshly washed and styled, makeup is kept neat and natural to give a nice fresh glowing face. (Of course, should you add a makeover to your session, hair and makeup will be sorted out for you)

The only thing you need to bring with you, for your session, is a selection of underwear. I have a wardrobe of clothing and accessories, that will be made available to you during your shoot.
