Stacey’s journey began when she was diagnosed with pseudomyxoma peritonei, a rare cancer that starts in the appendix. As part of her treatment at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Stacey had to undergo an eight-hour surgery to remove her spleen, gallbladder, layers of tissue, fallopian tubes, and both ovaries. However, before the surgery, she had the foresight to harvest and freeze her eggs so that she could still fulfill her dream of starting a family someday.
With the successful completion of her cancer treatment, Stacey began her journey towards motherhood through fertility treatment. Last November, her dream finally became a reality when she gave birth to her miracle baby Harry.

The portraits we created for Stacey and Harry are more than just photographs; they are a testament to the power of hope, love, and resilience. They tell a story of triumph over adversity, of the beauty that can emerge from even the darkest of times.
