Every milestone, in your child’s life, is an incredibly special one and you want to be sure to capture the memory.

My Watch Me Grow Package enables you to capture some of those special moments. 3 shoots over a year to document your little baby as they change and grow.

The first shoot is when your baby is first born and captures all of their wrinkles, dimples and tiny little features. The second shoot is when your baby is able to sit up and is developing their cute little personality. The final third session is to mark your baby’s one year birthday.

My photography style is very simple, timeless and natural. I don’t use distracting props or heavy colours, which will distract from the subject. I aim to create beautiful portraits which you will love today and always.

A little bit about what you can expect when you visit my studio

An experience to remember!

Besides capturing beautiful portraits, one of my main priorities during your session is to ensure you relax and enjoy your experience. My studio is a warm, welcoming and cosy environment. I have a comfortable seating area, where you can sit back and enjoy drinks whilst watching your child have their photograph taken.

My sessions are all led by your child. This ensures that they are happy and content throughout and we get the best photographs possible. It is best to work around their nap and feed times to ensure they are on top form. I will work with you to agree the best times for your shoot.

Prior to your session we will finalise the styling for your shoot. We will discuss colours, props, clothing and accessories and this will all be governed by your own tastes.

I only ever book one client per day to ensure that no shoot is ever rushed. I want you to enjoy your experience, from start to finish and have happy memories of the times you captured special milestones in your child’s life.

More information to help you decide about booking a session

I have answered some of the most frequently asked questions about my sessions. If you need to know something that I have not covered, please do not hesitate to contact me.

When should I book my shoot?

My sessions get booked up quickly and I therefore advise people to book sooner rather than later. If possible, look to book your shoot at least a month in advance of the session date. This will help to ensure you have a choice of available dates.

What do I need for the sessions?

The only thing you need to bring with you for your sessions are plenty of milk, nappies and any comfort aids that you use for your baby (dummy etc); to keep your baby happy throughout the shoot. A session lasts between 2 and 4 hours and therefore I ask that you come well prepared with the things that will keep your baby content. I provide all the rest. From outfits to props, I have it all at the studio, so you do not need to bring anything with you. However, if you do have something that you would like to incorporate into your shoot, such as an important teddy, please feel free to bring it along.

How long does a session take?

On average a my sessions last between 2-4 hours, but each session is completely baby led so it will all depend on your little one.

Is it easy to get to your studio?

It is very easy to get to my studio whether by public transport or car. If arriving by car, we have a private car park which is free for you to use. If traveling by train, the nearest train station (Dinting) is just a short 10 minute walk away. There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk, located on High Street East, Glossop.

How are the photographs styled?

When you book your session, I will send you a ‘Session Planner’. This gives you styling choices and ideas for your shoot. At the start of your shoot we will discuss your choices and I will show you different props, clothing and accessories you can choose from.

Where can I park?

You don’t have to worry about where to park. My studio has a private car park situated right outside. You can arrive for your shoot and not have the worry of needing to find a parking space or having far to walk.

What facilities do you have at the studio?

My studio has a large sofa which you can sit back and relax on whilst watching me take photographs.

I have a private bathroom and changing area, which is made exclusive to you for use during your session.

I have a private kitchen with all facilities, which can be used to help you store or prepare bottles should you need to.

Can parents and siblings be included in the shoots?

Yes, of course! After all you are a family and are part of the memory.

I just ask that you bring along some suitable black clothing for you to wear.
